I would like to schedule a colonoscopy. Do you offer services of that type?
We indeed offer this type of services to our clients. Here is the pricing information, as well as instructions for the procedure.
The instructions for the colonoscopy are as follows:
Colonoscopy + cleansing kit + 5 min. consultation: $475 USD (extra detailed consultation of about 30 min. is $90 more)
(Very small polyps removal is included in this price.)
An example of stay in Costa Rica and the cleansing, assuming the colonoscopy is scheduled at 8:00 a.m.:
Monday, : Cleansing kit sent to hotel with instructions and patient arrives
Tuesday: Must start the liquid diet all day long with no food. Drink juices that don“t have seeds or red coloring juices.
FIRST CLEANSING FOR COLONOSCOPY, (If colonoscopy is scheduled on Wednesday, for instance)
Dilute the bottle of Fleet Fosfo-Soda in a glass of orange juice or Ginger Ale and divide it up in 3 portions every 30 minutes.
4:00 p.m. Drink 1/3 of the glass of juice
4:30 p.m.: Drink 1/3 of the glass of juice
5:00 p.m.: Drink another 1/3 of the glass of juice
SECOND CLEANSING FOR COLONOSCOPY, TUESDAY
* You should dilute another bottle of Fleet Fosfo-Soda in a (glass of orange juice or Ginger Ale) and drink it fractioned in 3 portions every 30 minutes.
8:00 p.m. Drink 1/3 of the glass of orange juice
8:30 p.m. Drink 1/3 of the glass of orange juice
9:00 p.m. Drink 1/3 of the glass of orange juice
10:00 p.m. Must start fasting no water or food
DAY OF COLONOSCOPY, WEDNESDAY, Must be fasting 8 hours (NO liquids or solids permitted)
THIRD CLEANSING FOR COLONOSCOPY
6:00 a.m. 1 Fleet Enema (RECTALLY) 2 hours before the exam
8:00 a.m. appointment with gastroenterologist - Colonoscopy
