Dr. Stephen M. Stein

Dr. Stephen M. Stein, DDS, has been practicing oral surgery since 1994, and practicing at his own clinic, Stein Oral & Facial Surgery, P.C., since 1999. Previously, he was a partner at Rocky Mountain Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, P.C. From 1995 to 2006, he was a clinical instructor at the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Denver Health & Hospitals. He has also served on the faculty of the Department of Dentistry, Oral Surgery and Periodontics at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.

Dr. Stein spent five years in a surgical residency and fellowship learning Oral, Maxillofacial and Facial Cosmetic Surgery at the Baylor University Medical Center and Baylor College of Dentistry. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery diploma from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1989. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and his research and work have been published in four professional journals.

Dr. Stein is active in the community, and his activities involve participation with Kids In Need of Dentistry, Colorado Foundation for Dentistry for the Handicapped, Donated Dental Services, Smile Again, Big Brothers of Colorado, Project C.U.R.E., and volunteering for the Inner City Health Clinic.
